Chao has more than 30 years of experience in music, he is an actor, composer, singer, dancer and multidisciplinary artist.

 

Chao has had important participation in television for networks such as Telemundo, Univisión, Televisa and Tv Azteca, in novels and programs such as: El Bienamado, Las Amazonas, Tenías  que ser tú, La Rosa de Guadalupe, La Mujer del Vendaval, Amor Gitano, Gitanas, Al Filo de la Ley, Amor Descarado y Secreto de Amor among others; He has participated in films with key characters and of great importance in the plot such as "Morelos" and "El Ganador".

 

As a singer, he has conquered Mexico with his talent and peculiar musical fusion with more than 28 singles that have been hits, obtaining a gold record for more than 100,000 copies sold.

 

In addition to composing more than 80% of his own songs performed throughout his career, he has composed songs for other artists such as Flans, Pedro Fernández, Ana Gabriel, Lucero, Dyango and Garibaldi.

 

Chao has been awarded various and important recognitions both in Mexico, US and Spain, such as the TV Novelas Award, El Penacho de Moctezuma, El Laurel de Oro, El Califa de Oro, Galardón de Honor, Palmas de Oro, Premio Gráfica de Oro and more than 4 theater plaques.
